Before the Big Day
You’ll first meet with a member of the sales team who will set up a virtual tour at the venue of your choice. They will assist you in writing up a proposal and coming up with a package that meets your needs and your vision for your special day. Once that’s all set, you’ll start to work with the planning team.
Catering by Uptown’s planning team is like a close-knit family who all work closely together to make sure your wedding day goes off without a hitch. The first thing they will do is get you set up with your own personal planning website, which gives you access to an extensive list of vendors available exclusively to clients of Catering by Uptown. Your website also includes answers to frequently asked questions, payment details, menu choices and package options.
Next, you’ll meet with a member of the planning team one-on-one. The planning team members will help you select vendors, choose linens that coordinate with your wedding colors and pick centerpieces and a china pattern. They will also work with you to build a custom floor plan that works with the venue you choose. The planning team works hard to customize your wedding to fit your preferences and help you have the wedding of your dreams.
There for You from Start to Finish
Catering by Uptown’s Catering Supervisor serves as a day-of coordinator for your wedding. They will assist with execution of your timeline, making sure that everyone involved in your wedding from the photographer to the DJ are all on the same page. They are there for set-up, putting out your décor exactly the way you want.
The Catering Supervisor also runs the ceremony. They will work with you to organize the order of the processional and instruct your wedding party on how to walk and how quickly to walk. On your wedding day, they will line everyone up and send the members of your wedding party down the aisle at the appropriate time as well as cue the music. Before and after the ceremony, you’ll have access to the bridal suite at your venue. Once the ceremony is over, the Catering Supervisor will assist in moving everyone on to your reception.
Catering and Bar Packages
Catering by Uptown offers flexible menus and bar packages, enabling you to customize the food and drink for your big day. You can choose from an hors d’oeuvres display with finger foods like fruits and cheese, a buffet, or meal service. Tastings are available for you to sample your food choices and make sure you’re happy with them. You can also customize your bar package with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages of your choice.
